KIOSK Safety Standards

Kiosk Safety Standards
Days, Not Months

To meet the highest safety standards, many clients require Underwriters Laboratories® (UL) Certification of their project components, materials and system level safety prior to deployment.

Having worked with Underwriters Laboratories® for the past 18 years, KIOSK is intimately familiar with streamlining the certification process. KIOSK initiates the UL Certification request documents on behalf of the customer so that parallel progress can be made on UL’s analysis cycle during the initial prototype build. Typically, final system level evaluation and testing is done by a local UL Representative within days of the prototype completion. By working in conjunction with UL in early prototyping stages, KIOSK is able to condense the overall delivery time for certified equipment. In fact, this parallel activity approach can shave 90 – 120 days off a typical manufacturer's serial application process. Other safety and regulatory certifications including FCC, TUV, CE, CUL and NOM that are required for most international deployments are also managed by KIOSK.

Further, all kiosks are built to conform to the most recent American (ADA) and European Disability Access guidelines providing ease of use for handicapped individuals and limiting liability for operators.
