KIOSK Information Systems Announces Bill Butler as New CEO

May 10, 2017

Louisville, CO (May 10, 2017) – KIOSK Information Systems (KIOSK) is pleased to announce Bill Butler has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company.  Bill is the successor to Tom Weaver, KIOSK’s CEO since 2012.  Tom is transitioning into an Executive Consultant role, and will continue to actively guide the strategic direction of the company.  Tom has been with KIOSK since 2003 in C-Level Sales and Management roles.  Tom and Bill have worked together closely since 2014, transitioning KIOSK from primarily a custom hardware engineering and field services firm, to a full self-service solution company.  Tom adds, “The investments we’ve made in acquiring staff talent to support a full solution strategy have been substantial. Simultaneously adding professional resources in Software Development, Engineering, Managed Services, Supply Chain, and other support roles required Bill’s expert financial planning and management.  He has facilitated a rewarding growth chapter for KIOSK, helping the company achieve a step function in solution services that we can uniquely provide our clients. Bill provides essential leadership in financial strategy, systems, and process management that make or break change of this caliber.  He was the obvious choice for KIOSK’s next CEO.”

Bill’s executive leadership background includes 23+ years of progressive Financial Management experience across many industries and markets, including KIOSK, Flextronics, Crocs, Eaton, and Illinois Tool Works.  Butler adds, “As I transition into the CEO role, I’m very encouraged that KIOSK is in a solid position and our Professional Teams are executing on projects that represent significant strategic long-term growth.  Going forward, we’re all very fortunate to have Tom’s industry expertise and strategic leadership skills at our continued disposal.”

Owen Chen, CEO of Posiflex (KIOSK’s new parent company) also selected Bill Butler to help execute his vision of introducing new kiosk solutions to expand and diversify Posiflex’s point of sale product portfolio.  Owen adds that “Bill will be very instrumental in our success as we introduce new self-service solutions into Posiflex’s Global Distribution channels.”
