Employee Spotlight: Justin Lang
Title: Chief Industrial Designer
Years at KIOSK: 23
Justin Lang has spent over two decades shaping the look, the feel, and function of kiosks here at KIOSK Information Systems. Coming from a family of artists and designers, Justin was drawn to industrial design in college for its blend of creativity and variety. His typical day includes sketching, CAD work, customer research, and occasional renderings (plus a bit of helping out wherever needed).
His job in three words? Function. Form. Value.
One of Justin’s proudest accomplishments includes designing an entire fleet of kiosks for the Army Recreational Machine Program; an extensive project that brought off-duty entertainment to bases nationwide.
Favorite phrase at work: “What orientation do you want the touchscreen?”
Favorite part of the job: The wild, unexpected kiosk ideas customers come up with.
If KIOSK had a mascot: A Star Wars “Gonk” droid.
Early in his career, Justin illustrated military equipment and blast buckets for Air Force presentations. It was an experience full of intense security protocols — and one unforgettable moment involving a locked glass door and ignoring a knocking co-worker. Letting anyone in without a valid company ID would be a major violation in the defense world!
Justin brings incredible creativity and dedication to every project, and we are so grateful to have him on the KIOSK team!
