KIOSK Information Systems (KIOSK) is announcing CORE K-Nect, a new Remote Monitoring application that provides real-time visibility of an unattended kiosk network. The licensed application provides both monitoring and alerts on system connectivity, application status, as well as individual component performance. It includes an extensive Hardware Provider Layer (HPL) that leverages Internet of Things (IoT) signaling capabilities to report field issues as they occur. The application resolves the challenge of virtually attending a kiosk terminal network that, by definition, is primarily un-attended.

This prevents the majority of common maintenance issues from progressing to an error state. If a system element does fail, knowing issue specifics can significantly reduce downtime and field service costs.
